Goleadas marcam primeira rodada do Gigantinho

Significant goals marked the first round of the Gigantinho Amateur Football Championship, a youth category tournament promoted by the Americana Sports Secretariat.

The matches took place this weekend, in the fields of Centro Cívico, São Manoel, Santa Maria, Unidos, Ipiranga, Guanabara and São Vito, and recorded some elastic scores.

The second round takes place next Saturday (12) and Sunday (13).

“I’m very happy with the ball rolling also at Gigantinho, to make our city’s lawns even more lively. A great opportunity to encourage the practice of sports among children and teenagers and discover new talents”, commented the Secretary of Sports, Marcio Leal .
